Cruising | Chad States
Hurray for Chad States! Last year he published this book on cruising and I've never seen such a tastefull, yet revealing publication on this subject. A subject we've all experienced in our life, right? It's a world wide phenomenon and these pictures look very recognizable to me.

20 Years of S.E.X.
Not only did I celebrate the 20th anniversary of Madonna's Erotica yesterday, it was also 20 years ago since she released her iconic book SEX.
I remember that day so well. I skipped school and went to Amsterdam by train to get me a copy.
There was a short line, a pile of copies in foil and a bunch of money in my pocket. And I bought my beloved book! I sat down in the sun on a terrace and opened the book with scissors I got from the waiter and together with a bunch of curious ladies I flipped through the book. Pages filled with stunning shots by Steven Meisel, portraying sexual fantasies by my icon. Women and men, women and women and men and men. And even a little dog. Ofcourse the influence of this book didn't have the impact like in, for example, the USA. I live in a liberal country that is very open in sex, but still, artistically, this book definately left its mark.
I remember one time trying to masturbate on the content of this book,
but that was a very hard task. The metal of the cover on your naked
legs while sitting on the toilet... brrrrr, so cold!
Later on I bought a second copy which is still on my bookshelf, sealed like it was sealed 20 years ago.

Mates - Antonio Da Silva
"Mates" is a home made explicitly sex story about contemporary gay experience. It is a film about "real life", anonymous bodies using online flirting, spontaneous random brief encounters, pornography, social media, hyperconnectivity, etc. I'm sure you'll recognize some of the images in this film.

Joachim Baldouf - Ich Liebe Euch #1

Beautiful editorial by Joachim Baldouf called Ich Liebe Euch #1 (translated: I Love Both of You #1) for the first issue of German Horst Magazine. A tribute to threesomes with three models that are really my cup of tea!

I myself have had threesomes in the past. It's a different kind of sex and not everybody can play that game. Some people are afraid they can't devide their attention to both other guys. For others it's impossible to have sex without loving a person and loving two persons is a very rare thing.
For me it's easy to seperate sex from love. And I am not afraid to give one guy less attention than the other. I can be selfish and egocentric during sex, so my only worry is to get loads of attention from both guys.... whehehehehehe! What do you have to share about threesomes?

My Life as a Flamingo

Have you ever been discriminated as a gay person? Personally I haven't and when I saw this picture above it instantly reminded me of my life. First of all, I always consider myself a homophobic gay man. I don't like bunches of gays (although my recent opinion is that I don't like bunches of people). Still, when I look around and see the people I hang out with, many of them are gay. Skitrip 2009? My sister was the only straight person in the house. Skitrip 2010? She brought two straight male friends who are insanely tolerant to gay men. The people I consider my best friends? Most of them gay.
So back to this picture. In Flamingoland everyone is pink. And as you can see above, when a flamingo isn't pink he's being bullied by his pink friends (or enemies... or even better... frenemies). That's the story of my life. If you are a grey flamingo and you have a problem with pink flamingo's like me you'll be bullied. Fortunately my greyfeathered friends are tolerant and will never be bullied. They just fit in perfectly.
But I'm very much aware of pink flamingo's being the only pink flamingo in their herd. Covering up their pink feathers and trying to look as grey as they can. That's sad. And I don't think about these poor flamingo's enough. And I also don't appreciate my own situation as a happy pink flamingo enough. I'm just used to being pink and open about it since I was about 14. Funny how all these thoughts come up into your head when you watch a photo of flamingo's.
