First Look: Arie Boomsma for L'Homo
Dutch glossy LINDA publishes a special issue every year. Last years those specials were hosted by famous dutch men, but this year it's compiled especially for (or better about) gay men.
A few months ago this issue was announced and also the fact that dutch tv presenter Arie Boomsma would do an erotic photoshoot for this issue. That news led to the fact that the network Arie works for decided to suspend him for the period of three months. Why? Because Arie works for a christian network and their staff decided a (half-) naked spread doesn't fit one of their presenters. Without seeing the shoot.
Today the issue went on sale and the dutch population could finally see what the shoot looked like. A very tastefull and very christian shoot in my opinion. Arie is still suspended and is not allowed to talk to the press. But he told several sources he's still not regretting this shoot.
So no matter how liberal a country can be, there will always be silly christians that just don't get it. And I will never get them!
