Driving on highways in Switzerland comes with a pleasant feature: nicely designed rest stops. The above images are of newly constructed Viamala Raststätte Thusis, an alpine service station designed by young Swiss studio Iseppi/Kurath. It includes shops, tourist information, a restaurant and bar, all in a wonderfully modern, bright design.
