Maestranza - Aitor Lara

Last week in Sevilla I came across the facade of the local FNAC (great French book- and multimediastore). The windows were all covered by photos that immediately draw my attention. I looked up the photographer and found out it's work by Aitor Lara. The series he displayed on this facade is called Maestranza and focusses on the art of Bullfighting.

At first I thought these images were shot in the 50's of last century, but they're much more recent, from 2005 and 2006. Great atmosphere!
