Age is not Just a Number

I always love the reactions to pictures like these published all over the web. Fifty year old woman looking like fifty year old woman. Why is everybody so obsessed with pictures of Madonna looking old?

I like this kind of pictures, I don't find them repulsive or horrible. It shows the real Madonna and not the image we normally see in magazine shoots or album-covers. Aging is much more interesting than hiding your age.

I agree with you, 100%!

Then why oh why do we own so many anti-aging/anti-wrinkle creams? ;-)

That's because I expect totally unrealistic youth from the love of my life! Glad you still haven't figured out what I do to you in your sleep.

Youth is wasted on the young

Very true Kevin! I was discussing that with peter yesterday. Looking back at pictures of the past of ourselves and being really stunned, while we did not realize it back then.

She really doesn't look old to me in this picture.

I can only hope to look as good as she does at fifty when I am 25.
No make up and untouched, she is still beautiful, and sexy.
She has never lost it, and I doubt she ever will!

I love your blog btw!
