The main gold was not achieved. They tried to put the city and the river togheter but there are no boats and the marina is deing.
There are mainly upper-class apartments and big companies offices.
But it is a nice place to visit, there is Pavilhão Atlânitco (atlantic pavilion), were Madonna performed in 04, witch has big concerts and shows. The largest aquarium in Europe (Aquário Vasco da Gama), a nice Shopping (also cald Vasco da Gama), the Lisbon Casino and a convention and business exhibition bureau.

Thanks for the information David! Pity that it didn't really worked out. I bought a beautiful book about that are in 1998, about the architecture and the plans. too bad it didn't work out the way they wanted.
