On the Cover of a Magazine

I love this cover for the french magazine PHOTO by Patrick Demarchelier. And I also really like all these test shots. The picture ended up on the Justify My Love cd, which my mother in law described as "how cute, she looks like a little farm girl!".

Jay Brannan performed in Amsterdam earlier this month and I missed it! I really wanted to see him perform live one day, but I guess I just didn't see the date in time. He was even singing a song in dutch. A well known song from a project which has been going on since the early 80's called "Kinderen voor Kinderen" (children for children) about having two dads, which goes something like this:

Wij wonen in een rijtjeshuis
We hebben mooie spullen thuis
We leven heel normaal daar met z'n drietjes bijelkaar
Bas die werkt bij de krant
En Diederik is laborant
Ik ben door hen geadopteerd als baby van een jaar

Lickable?

Lickable? Yes, the Celebration 2DVD is quite lickable. But a censored version of Justify my Love? In 2009? That's insane. It's just a pair of tits! Besides that stupid little black square the rest of the DVD is very enjoyable. Only a few videos missing, but hey, most of them live performances. The ones really missing on this collection are Oh Father, Bad Girl, Nothing Really Matters and American Life.
