Goodnight

Hornbach - Hardware Store

This is the latest tv-spot for Hornbach, a european hardware-chain which is getting bigger and bigger in the Netherlands. I really loved the ad when I first saw it a couple of days and I really had no clue it was for a hardware store. It's so different! Below is a page from their brochure. I've seen some other chains targetting on gay men (IKEA did it years ago) but never saw this in a hardwarebrochure. Pretty cool!

The B-Team

Here's the first official photo from Joe Carnahan's big screen adaptation of The A-Team. The film stars Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck, Liam Neeson as Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith, Sharlto Copley as Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock, and Quinton Jackson as Sgt. Bosco "B.A." Baracus. The film is currently in production, aiming for a June 11th 2010 release. (source)

Goodnight

Gregory Crewdson

What? I am running this blog now for 1.5 years and I never introduced you to one of my favourite photographers? That's so not nice of me! Gregory Crewdson is one of the photographers that never bore me. I have the picture above as my desktop wallpaper for years now and still find myself just staring at it. His work is so three-dimensional it never gets boring. And even now, when I am watching True Blood I often get thrown back into Gregory's beautiful, motion-picture-like work.

Joseph Sayers by Hudson Wright

Who said you have to be tall as a model? Joseph Sayers is only 1.68m (5'6") and has had some great succeses already. He's most famous for his nude portfolio for Abercrombie & Fitch. These pictures were done by Hudson Wright (imagesource: We Love Guys).

Things I Wish I Made

Here's one of those designs I wish I made myself. And with my love for mountains, my yearning for simplicity (which fails a lot of the times) I swear I could have made this myself.

But I didn't. This was done by graphic designer Erola Boix. It's a brochure for a private banking company from Andorra, a country surrounded by mountains.

Trip the Station #9

Can you guess what I am watching?

I Want Bucky Balls!

Currently, my balls aren't bucky at all. But after seeing this cute little cube of magnetic balls I wish my balls were as bucky! And the things you can do with them are unlimited! While my own balls came with many limitations. Get me some bucky balls for my birthday!

Fabio Heck by Didio

It's been a while since I last did a post on the photography of Didio. But Fabio Heck really caught my eye. He reminds me a bit of Nate Fisher, from Six Feet Under. Complete set available at the Eyes of Didio.
