Knock Knock. I Brought Something Hot Up
After the highly appreciated shoot on Darren Lloyd last year, here's another gorgeous set of photos by David Hart from Shoot Me Up. Masculinity, colours and beautifully tattooed models posing in hotelrooms. The shoot is called Room Service... obviously! Visit Shoot Me Up for the rest of the pictures.
Google Snow!
Since a big part of the world is allready covered by Google Streetview, the people at Google had to come up with something new. And as if they looked inside my head they came up with the brilliant idea of mapping the world's ski slopes.
They developed this great snowmobile and started in Whistler, Canada. Now they are heading to Europe again, starting to map the Swiss skislopes. And you can help decide which resorts they'll do first by entering the contest here! But do it before February 14th! You can win a 3 days pass to the winning resort including accomodation! Oh man, Google Maps is getting better every year!

Lightheaded - Mike Dacko
Aaaaahhh, very cute movie by Mike Dacko. Totally gonna blog this! Oh wait... I just did. The figures remind me a bit of my Mr. P lamps. We had them in our other house. No room for them in our current sleeping situation, but I'm sure I can convince Peter to place them on both sides of the bed again. I've missed the little bastards with their uncut lightswitches!
A Room with a Different View
Okay boys and girls. You've probably enjoyed loads and loads of posts titled "A Room with a View" in the last few years. Now it's time for a change. From March 1st, I will still do posts with that title, but the view is gonna change. Still in Arnhem, still facing west, but out of the city centre.
Due to many facts we sold our house and move into a new home. As you can see on these pictures it needs some male touch to it, but as soon as we get our keys next Friday this will be a simple task. Can't wait to gay up this big empty space!

This is What I Call Travelling in Style!
Marc Forster, famous Swiss movie director (Monster’s Ball, A Quantum of Solace) has taken on a new role in his life: he became a hotelier in the Valais. The lifestyle hotel Matthiol in Zermatt, a noble lodging with 23 rooms just celebrated the official opening in January. “It is to become a veritable Marc Forster hotel”, says joint holder Betty Summermatter. “Of course, we named the master suite after him. It has a very special feature: if you take a bath in the tub you can enjoy a vista of the beautiful Matterhorn.” (and all I could think when I saw that view from the bath tub was "well photoshopped". But I was wrong! And I want to go to there!)
