James Anderson
I came across James Anderson's profile on Model Mayhem and this 20 y/o guy from Tampa, Florida instantly caughtmy attention. I really like these shots by AJR Photography.

Best Dutch Commercial 2009
This brilliant Heineken commercial won the award for best dutch commercial in 2009 according to the dutch public. The compettion was weak this year so it was easy to win.
A few weeks after the release of this commercial, that other dutch brand Bavaria released this spoof as a commercial, which is really clever as well:
And then Heineken came with the follow up:
SNOW
Yesterday was all about snow. When snow hits the Netherlands it feels like they pull the plug and nothing works anymore. People staying home from work and still almost 700 kilometers of traffic jam. Trains stop transporting people. Shops and schools close down. It's madness.
I love snow and I love to drive through the country. Unfortunately the direction I drove in yesterday was green and grey. No snow there. Luckily today I had a beautiful view from my desk. Hopefully tomorrow I will actually enjoy the snow in a passive/active way!

Alice in Wonderland
Made me giggle of excitement already!
My first Disney movie which I am actually gonna love!
Inspiration?
After my last post I looked up the picture of Justin Timberlake by Steven Klein and I concluded that the shoot Lope Navo did with Marco Dapper not only reminded me of that earlier shoot, but almost copied it. The blood, the pose, even the burning paper! Would you consider this a tribute or just stealing ideas?

Emile Steenveld by Rick Day
Photographer Rick Day started to use a new background. His famous white background with the line in it has changed to this concrete like wall. One of the first models he shot with this new background is Major Model Management's Emile Steenveld. Stunning!
