Goodnight

Shoot Me Up - Room Service

My regular visitors probably already know Shoot Me Up. I published their work before and I am always a big fan of their work. Here's a preview of their newest publication "Room Service". Portraits of London Club Culture filled with beautiful boys and girls and creatures of the night. Bright, chique and sleazy. But always with a sense of style. Check out their blog to learn more about this (and other) publications.

The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier

Jean Paul Gaultier will get his first travelling retrospective and this exhibition kicks of next June in Montreal. Many of the costumes he designed over the last 3 decades are being returned from the people who wore them. Ofcourse this classic corset Madonna wore during her 1990 Blond Ambition tour can't be left out and according to Jean paul Gaultier's twitter he received this beauty last week.

Reason enough for me to do another Blond Ambition post with the beautiful picture above and the performance of Express Yourself in Japan below. Enjoy!

It's Coming Right At Us!

Be glad you're not watching my blog with your 3D glasses on! If you did, you'd have some serious dick in your face right now! But if that's what you want on this nice sunny Saturday afternoon, grab those glasses and be amazed. Can't get enough of 3D porn? Head over to Dominic Ford for some real good 3D fun!

Switzerland - More Than Just Mountains

I love this new summer commercial from myswitzerland.com. Sebi and Paul, the farmers that already starred in many of their commercials decent the mountains and explore Swiss city life. Wanna plan a Swiss citytrip yourself? See what the 23 cities of Switzerland have to offer you by clicking here.

Goodnight

Final Fitting

When I get married this summer I want this to be my dress. I know it's just a bulb of garlic, but doesn't it look like the most beautifull dress you've ever seen? I wonder what Peter will wear next to me. Ofcourse I haven't seen his outfit, because we both know that brings bad luck. Another advantage of marrying the same guy twice. You learn from making mistakes!

Toilette by John Fallon

Lovely series of portraits of guys on toilets by John Fallon. Toilets. For some of us just a place to poop or pee, for others a place to hook up, fuck and have a wonderfull time. See more of his very extended series "Toilette" on his website here.

Commercial Frontyard

Dutch singer Ilse deLange stars in the latest commercial for EuropCar. And guess what! Parts of this commercial were filmed in my parents' street last month. Right in front of their house.

I got an e-mail with the pic on the bottom of this post in March and thought it was a team of people clearing bombs from WW2. But no. It was a team of cameramen filming her stand-in riding that horse. Pretty cool to see that well known view featured in this commercial!

New Decade. New Rules.

Today is the day we've all been waiting for. The 4th Scream movie hits the theaters! The reviews so far are more than good for a follow up to a VERY succesfull movie from 1996 and I can't wait to see it on the big screen this week with the big P and the crossed eyes E! Too bad the cakemaking J lives too far away to join us.

Tony Ward for Baldessarini

Übermodel Tony Ward stars in this beautiful campaign for the Spring/Summer 2011 collection of Baldessarini. The pictures look amazing, but the video below looks even better! Hot as hell, wet as heaven and a fine tune in the background. Enjoy the commercial and the campaign and the black and white photos behind the scene as well! Baldessarini definately seperates the men from the boys!

The Majestic Matterhorn

Newly Swissed published an entry anout the Matterhorn. Probably Switzerland's best known mountain and maybe even the world's best known mountain. I realized that although I visited Switzerland many, MANY times in my life, I've never seen this mountain up, close and personal. I've seen it from a distance, because it peak is very recognizable and viewable from France, Italy and many other places in Switzerland.

Here are some facts on this majestic mountain as well as two of my all time favourite pictures (the one above shot by Katarina and the one below by Verena Popp-Hackner)

  • Matterhorn, the German name, is derived from the words Matte meaning "meadow" and horn meaning "peak"
  • It is the tenth highest mountain in Switzerland, and one of 48 Swiss peaks above 4,000 m in height.
  • The four faces of the Matterhorn face the four cardinal directions - north, east, south, and west.
  • Over 500 people have died climbing the Matterhorn since 1865, many on the descent. Deaths due to falls, inexperience, bad judgement, bad weather and falling rocks average now about 12 annually.
