Drew Barrymore
I grew up with Drew Barrymore. As a kid I watched her being a cute and funny kid in E.T. And I remember buying that copy of Interview Magazine with a very bad-ass photoshoot after she went through a troubled childhood. And ofcourse she was the first scream-queen of the new generation of horror when she died in the first Scream movie.
Nowadays she's one of those fine actresses and a very funny talent doing aerobics on Saturday Night Life (for a very low body workout). These shots by Mert & Marcus show her true beauty!
Closer to the Music
Great photographic work for the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra by Björn Ewers. With these works photographed from the inside of instruments he really brings you closer to the music.

Melvin the Mini Machine
Early 2012, HEYHEYHEY had some time to spare and they felt the need to challenge themselves once again, so they set out to build another one of their chain reaction machines called Melvin.
Conveniently built in two old suitcases, Melvin the Mini Machine is a Rube Goldberg machine specifically designed to travel the world. Each time Melvin fully completes a run, he ‘signs’ a postcard and sticks a stamp to it - making it ready to be sent.
Like its bigger brother, Melvin the Mini Machine also has an online non-physical side which he uses to connect to the people he meets. To keep things truly mobile Melvin uses a smartphone for his online identity.

Das Boob
Rollercoaster riding just got a little more fun! Look at her go. And look at them trying to escape! I'm glad this was caught on tape to be shared with the world.

Show Me Your Feet
Okay, it's not often that I post hardcore porn clips on my blog, but for this one I make an exception. I enjoyed every minute of this scene and now I wonder if I may or may not have a fetish for feet. I don't like my feet. In fact there are few feet in this world that look beautiful. So no, I guess I don't have a feet fetish. But I do love this scene! And the feet! And what the other guy is doing to them. A lot!
Queen Bee & Her Panda
Last week the WWF celebrated its 50th Birthday. Our Queen was invited and they gave her this cute stuffed pandabear. So on every photo taken that day, she carries it with her. Even when she left she was holding that cute panda on her lap.
I don't want to be mean, but when her mother (our former Queen Juliana) started to behave like this, she was forced to abdicate (thanks for teaching me this word, Peter!) and she was put to sleep into her palace and never saw daylight again. Let that be a warning, dear Beatrix!
Junior
I've seen the picture above many times before. A lovely photo of relaxed dudes hanging out in their cabin.
Never realized it belonged to a series called Junior shot for Playgirl Magazine untill Homotrophy published this gorgeous set. So big thanks to Homotrophy.

Maurice Sendak | 1928-2012
Last Tuesday the writer of one of my favourite books passed away. Maurice Sendak was the creator of Where The Wild Things Are. In Dutch it was translated into Max and the MaxiMonsters and I picked this book from the library every week as a kid. When I think of my childhood bedroom these monsters always pop into my mind. Still haven't seen the movie, but I guess the book will do so far. Ripperdepip.
