NYC OCTOBER 2009
Remember that beautiful september spread by Daniel van Flymen? Here's the shoot he did last October in NYC. A very sexy Halloween party featuring some beautiful models in an atmosphere which reminds me of the Pet Shop Boys video for Being Boring in a way (complete spread available here).
About Face
About Face is a stunning limited edition art photography book shot by leading celebrity photographer John Russo and contains black and white portraits of some of Hollywood’s most recognizable young male stars, including Jason Lewis (Sex and the City), Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights), Ian Somerhalder (Lost,Vampire Diaries), Marco Dapper (Eating Out) and Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl), plus riveting photos of non-celebrity males.
Russo amazingly captures the raw beauty, spirit, and emotional distinctions of each subject while shooting each of them in the same pose, and utilizing only natural light. About Face was shot using type 55 Polaroid film, now considered obsolete, making this photography book even more unique (source).

Novembeard
Had a little shaving accident last week which I hate, because I had to shave it all off. But the good thing is that I was just in time to join Novembeard 2009. A great initiative for people to start off clean shaven and let their beards grow during this month with daily updates. So if you're interested in seeing facial hair grow (including mine) have a look at Novembeard!
