Goodnight

El Hombre Que Se Crea

"El Hombre Que Se Crea" is a stunning series of photos by Spanish artist Alejandro Maestre Gasteazi (born 1979). He captures his friend Julián covered in paint and explains:

Julián is a good friend who I deeply respect; he is a multidisciplinary and complete artist. He is, at the same time, film director, sculptor, painter, photographer and writer. He suggested time ago the idea of doing a portrait of him that could describe his capacity of creating and his constant search to understand his body and spirit. All these made me think about his work and helped me to develop the idea of this work.
Therefore, with this photograph series I intend to show an artist fighting to get to know and shape himself and turn into a better human being.

Painting All Over - Eric Phillips

Eric Phillips created this very colourfull set using several naked bodies, a hell lot of paint and some photoshop. Beautiful result. More Eric Phillips? Visit his Flickr account or join his Tumblr pages.

Goodnight

Spare Time

Now I'm a working man, I have to get used to spending my spare time to the max. I've been in training for my new job for 6 weeks now and next week I'm released free into the wild.

Next week I won't be working mondays through fridays from 8:30 - 5:00 anymore, but my days will be more at random. So next week I have two days off in the middle of the week and I can't decide what to do first. Read this new John Irving that's been luring me for two weeks? Or get my paint out and create this painting stuck inside my head for some days now.

I never would have thought I would appreciate this job so much. It's nothing big or special, but I enjoy it so much. And I guess I will appreciate my days off waaaaay more than I did in the last 4 years. I'll keep you posted.

MDNA - Like a Virgin

MDNA seems months ago. MDNA actually WAS months ago. Still I get caught up with the rest of the tour and every now and then I find such beautiful pictures like these. Madonna sining Like A Virgin with only a piano. One of the many highlights of the show.

And those lucky bastards in Chicago got an extra highlight last week. After she finished Like A Virgin, she sang Love Spent... for the very first time. I hope that one is a keeper and I hope she'll sing it in Rio in December when the show is being filmed for release!
