Ephemicropolis
Inspired by my sweet friend and fantastic blogger Cos, here's a look at the beautiful installation Ephemicropolis by artist Peter Root. An entire city built out of over 100.000 staples broken into varying sizes from full stacks about 12cm high down to single staples.

Queen's Day 2010
Well well well, what a beautiful Queen's Day we had again! A fantastic time with fantastic friends, a lot of beer, a lot of music, more beer and even some little rays of sunshine! We absolutely enjoyed every minute of it and realized once again what a great bunch of friends we have surrounding us! Thanks guys! You all know who you are!

Queen's Day 2010
Today we celebrate Koninginnedag. Last night we had the pre-party, but no hangover now. It was a nice evening and hopefully a prelude to a great day today. If only the sun would come out I am gonna be kinda busy, k-k-k-kinda busy!

Making Geert Wilders Proud
Yesterday I made Geert Wilders proud. I found myself in the middle of dutch heritage, the items we are known well for abroad. Tulips that would last till the horizon if there wasn't some mill blocking them. Red, yellow, orange, white, purple, black fields filled with tulips. To tell you the truth, I never felt so dutch in my life!

Tim MacPherson
Great photography by Tim MacPherson. I recognize myself so much in these photos. I've always been like this. As a child I created whole worlds with pillows, nowadays I create animals with my hands, with torn up napkins at desert and with almost everything I carry in my pockets. These kids are destined to grow up being great people!
Anne Frank
Today the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam is open to the public for 50 years. A popular museum for years now, which is part of our education and still very on-topic. Today marks the opening of the online experience of the house. They really created a beautiful new website for all people that will never make it to Amsterdam. Please take some time to check out the digital tour through the Anne Frank house. It's very impressive!
