Funny how my newest item of clothing looks so much like my oldest item. Last week I bought this great SesameStreet T-Shirt from S.Oliver. They celebrate 35 Years of Sesamestreet with a cool collection of SesameStreet T-Shirts.

The little red one on the right are my old pajamas. Red shirt and pants with Bert & Ernie on the chest. Bought by my parents in the 1970's and one of the two pieces of clothing I never gave away. Safely stored in a dust- and mothfree case.

But look at Bert's face! That's how Bert's face is supposed to look like. Grumpy! Reading a book on pigeons when Ernie forced him to pose for this picture. The Bert on my new shirt looks way to happy. A lot has changed since the 1970's *cough* Disney *cough* and Bert seems to be on some kind of medicine which makes him smile a little bit too much.

I don't care that this video is already six years old. Sometimes you have to remind the world of all the fun from the recent past. Slapping galore by Guy Maddin for Sissy Boy. This really is some serious slapping guys!

If you have a boyfriend, don't try this at home. If you don't have one, please find the person you hate the most and DO try this at home! If the person you hate the most in fact IS your boyfriend, you really have some issues!

Bye Bye Beardy!

While shopping with mom today (thanks mom!) and buying my new favourite t-shirt (more on that tomorrow!) I spent a lot of time in dressing rooms with huge ass mirrors. Seeing myself and my face and my beard a lot. And I didn't like what I saw. Been saving up this beard since my birthday back on November 1st and it became a gimmick to me.

So back at home I undressed and shaved it off. Two hands full of black and grey hair flushed down the toilet! And all evening, whenever I look into the mirror (no, not vain, just pissing in front of one) I scared myself with my freshly shaved face. I think I prefer some beard on me. So I start growing one again.

This image was shot halfway, when I thought I shaved it all off and checked in the mirror.

RIP Captain Iglo

Captain Iglo died two weeks ago. That white bearded captain offering the world his golden sticks filled with fish. To be honest this captain had only done the job since 1998. Before that we had another white bearded captain and in between there was this Disney version you see below. I really hope Iglo finds a new captain soon. Not the Disney version, but a rough manly man. Maybe they should contact Peto Coast to do the job!
