Brazilian Beauty by Didio
MDNA in Tel Aviv
Well, the wait is finally over! After weeks of changing setlist and beautiful captures of Madonna rehearsing her ass off, she finally kicked off her MDNA Tour in Tel Aviv last night. And although it's hard to only judge on pictures and youtube material, this concert made a great impression on my already.
The costumes by Jean Paul Gaultier throw us right back to 1990's Blond Ambition tour and she did some interesting changes to her greatest (as well as non-scoring) hits. The backdrops look perfect again, so even when she's not on stage, she'll be entertaining as well as educating.
Yeah, I'm looking forward to July 8th when I get to see her in person again. It's not a big secret that I didn't really like both Confessions Tour and Sticky & Sweet Tour, but I have the idea that this is going to be as good as or even better than Re-Invention from 2004!

Happy 60th Birthday!
Yesterday Dutch themepark De Efteling celebrated its 60th Birthday. As you may or may not know I love themeparks, but De Efteling is still my favourite park in the world. I guess it's normal. As a Dutch kid you grow up with this park.
The park was founded back in the 1950's as a natural park with a swimmingpool, apond with canoes and a beautifully created forest filled with fairytales. Based on the drawings by Dutch artist Anton Pieck, these fairytales came to life. Below you can see how the castle of Sleeping Beauty was designed as a drawing and then built. Beautiful!

To celebrate the 60th Birthday a new attraction was revealed last night. Aquanura is a fountain show like the ones in Las Vegas and Dubai. The largest in Europe and the 3rd largest in the world. Wit the adding of colour and music from the themepark itself, this must be a beautiful ending of a day at De Efteling. Have a look at the opening last night:
