Vittis from Lithuania
Here are some beautiful HDR-shots by Vittis. Somehow this kind of photography attracts me, because I can't seem to do it in the awesome way others can. Check out more of his work at his Flickr-profile. Oh and keep in mind that he doesn't use Photoshop!
Life on Mars?
NASA's Mars Phoenix Lander began sending photos of the planet's surface on the first day of its three-month mission "to taste and sniff the northern polar site's soil and ice," the space agency said.
The first pictures, which the lander began taking shortly after touching down near Mars' north pole -- the end of a 422 million-mile trek -- showed a pattern of brown polygons as far as the camera could see.
"It's surprisingly close to what we expected and that's what surprises me most," said Peter Smith, the mission's principal investigator. "I expected a bigger surprise."
Well, I guess they need to take a closer look, this is nothing I expected... it's huge!

Eurovision Song Contest 2008
Last night we watched the Eurovision Song Contest. Russia won, but I won't go into that because I hated the song, the singer and the stupid performance. Instead I wanna focus on my favourite; Turkye. Mor Ve Ötesi had a great song, good performance and they should have won.
