What a beautiful day at the National Open Air Museum today! Sunny weather, wonderfull big pancakes and a annual Museum Pass in our pockets. Last time we went there we didn't have enough time to visit the current exhibition about dutch people and saving stuff. This time we did and we were amazed. Nine people showing their collections, presented in an awesome way. The weirdest collection was the one of 10.000 barf bags (don't really know a better word), he collected from airlines all over the world. If you're ever in Arnhem, we'd love to take you there!
I love this cover for the french magazine PHOTO by Patrick Demarchelier. And I also really like all these test shots. The picture ended up on the Justify My Love cd, which my mother in law described as "how cute, she looks like a little farm girl!".
Jay Brannan performed in Amsterdam earlier this month and I missed it! I really wanted to see him perform live one day, but I guess I just didn't see the date in time. He was even singing a song in dutch. A well known song from a project which has been going on since the early 80's called "Kinderen voor Kinderen" (children for children) about having two dads, which goes something like this:
Next time he'll visit Europe again I really need a personal invitation, written by hand, dropped in my mailbox here in Arnhem.
I am such a trendsetter! Growing my beard last year for my skitrip resulted in this latest New York fashion! A great woolen cap with attachable moustache is for sale here. My birthday wishlist is getting bigger and bigger!
Lickable? Yes, the Celebration 2DVD is quite lickable. But a censored version of Justify my Love? In 2009? That's insane. It's just a pair of tits! Besides that stupid little black square the rest of the DVD is very enjoyable. Only a few videos missing, but hey, most of them live performances. The ones really missing on this collection are Oh Father, Bad Girl, Nothing Really Matters and American Life.
Okay! New game! Besides naming tunes and telling where the hell Willem is, you will now have to guess what I am watching. Part of the credits go to Mac, from Yummy of the Day who has a similar game at his blog. But instead of guessing movies you'll be guessing tv-shows here. Let's start the easiest way with this first entry!
