Goodnight

A Jungawhatta?

A Jungalow. You know. A bungalow with a jungle theme. Plain old bungalow at a vacation park rethemed with animal prints and loads and loads of African stuff in it.

That's where I spent my Saturday evening. At a sweet friend's birthday party. Her own appartment in Amsterdam is way too small to host many people, so she started her own Rainbow Tour (or Tigerprint Tour so to speak) and had her party in a Jungalow. I looked really African wearing her boyfriend's hat. Although I believe the hat was from Greece, so this post really makes no sense at all. Meh, just another opportunity to share a silly pic of me.

Hipstamatic Peto Coast

Cute Agressive Fuckers are cool. Cute Agressive Fuckers trying out new iPhone apps are even cooler. I really like these pictures made by Peto Coast trying out his new Disposible App. Besides his very sexy face I really dig the wallpaper as well! I have the app myself for some weeks as well now and finished one role of 24 pictures. Shared it with that Canadian fellow, but somehow he didn't get to see the results.

For Your Consideration

To all my friends and relatives that shop at Albert Heijn:

Before you start collecting Muppet-Points for all the children you know, please consider me. A 37 year old Muppet-fan that would love to collect all the Muppet Dolls in the next few weeks. I know they are not the best quality, but still, I'd really like to have all eight of them.

Kind regards,

Daan

Sunday Morning

What a beautiful way to wake up on a Sunday morning.

Sebastiaan Bremer

New York-based artist Sebastiaan Bremer used vintage photos from his childhood and drops of color to produce images that look sprinkled in kaleidoscopic confetti.

“By drawing on the photographic image I change everything and add the real component of time. My associations, ideas, and changes of direction it all finds its way to the picture.”
The pictures he used remind me very much of my own childhood vacations. And with all the autism I have inside of me I even recognize most mountains in the photos.
