Inspiration?

After my last post I looked up the picture of Justin Timberlake by Steven Klein and I concluded that the shoot Lope Navo did with Marco Dapper not only reminded me of that earlier shoot, but almost copied it. The blood, the pose, even the burning paper! Would you consider this a tribute or just stealing ideas?

It's not stealing till someone notices. Good call!

that is certainly not inspiration...

In publishing it is called plagerism....
In music... sampling... and cost money.

In photography... it's called lazy,

just saying.

It's plagarism, it's not innocent at all. Everything would be fine, but JT has the same pose and blood on his chin. No one's going to notice though, celebrities get away with anything. His credibility as an artist is gone now.

Marco Dapper is hot indeed, but in this shoot he only looks hot on the cover.

But I guess I just prefer good photography over goodlooking guys.
