These flowers we bought last Thursday exploded with colour, smell and size over the last few days. I think they're called Peony in English, but correct me if I'm wrong. They're standing on the table next to my Mac, so they were an easy object to shoot and I want to say Sorry to J@V@JuNKiE for pinging so many flower pictures to him!

One of my favorite flowers - my grandmother always had peonies in her yard.
yes, indeed they are peonies...ours are about to bloom within the next week or so...with all the rain we've had, our front garden is lush, verdant and pregnant with blooms!
