La Belle et La Bête

Sam Scott Schiavo must have been taking a look into my brain. Lately he focusses a lot on film instead of photography and this latest video features beautiful REAL men combined with cigarettes. How sexy!

The video is a promo video featuring his work for the exhibition La Belle et La Bête, a homage to Jean Genet's 1950 film 'Un Chant d'Amour' which will take place in New York City 31 October - 30 December 2011 and in London 23 February - 29 April 2012.

Will you look at that! My sister found one of my more obscure childhood photos. The one I didn't want the world to see. It was just after I was released from Kinderprison and I had my knuckles tattooed to be part of the Toys 'r Us gang.

Later on in my youth I totally regretted that tattoo and changed it into the one below. More friendly, more me, more weathergirls gang. Thanks for the reminder, schwester!

Oh wow, isn't this “Escape Machine” for the French travel company Voyages SNCF the coolest machine you've ever seen?

Glowing black cubes wait till someone goes close enough. Then the cube asks where the person would like to travel. Pushing the red button produces a crazy celebration, complete with gigantic walking kisses, and provides the wishers large, customized mock tickets to their destination. (via The Cool Hunter)

We've Been Talking...

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I really was a bad boy! I got it! Got a house visit from Lud from 1 FATHOM a couple of weeks ago telling me to start blogging right into my face. Got several e-mails and comments about getting my ass back online again. Have one darkhaired hunk on my couch urging me to blog again every night.

And then there was this stumble from J@V@JuNKiE this afternoon which captured this all ionto one simple drawing. Oh man, you guys really missed me! Didn't you?
