Happy birthday sweet Enna!

Don't Just Stand There

Don't just stand there. Let's get to it.
Pick a side. There's nothing to it. Vote!

For the 6th time in 10 years, we Dutchies head out to vote again. Lately our governments seem to fail the 4 years that used to be the norm. Unlike for example the USA we have many, MANY political parties (21 to be precise) which makes it hard to form a stable government.

But we did our duty again after work and keep our fingers crossed for a nice combination between left, right, green and social for the next four years.

Goodnight

I'm Sleepy. Get Out.

Banksy Animated

ABVH is known for its incredibly creative animations. Recently they took the street art by Banksy to the next level by animating some of his works. And although Banksy's work is already very powerfull by itself, these animations definately add something to his works. Coolio!

Dad's 65th Birthday

Dad turned 65 last August and like every year, we celebrated that fact with the whole family. But since it's dad's birthday, he got to chose the activity.

He got a nice hybrid bike last summer, so a biketrip was very suitable. We went to our big national park "De Hoge Veluwe" and biked our asses off. All sweaty except for the birthday boy.

Inside the national park is one of the better museums in The Netherlands. Kröller-Müller started as a private collection, but evolved into a very well situated collection of art open to the public. Whenever you come to The Netherlands I really urge you to visit this museum. Location, collection, it's all worth it.

We finished the day at a great asian restaurant. And oh man, did that first beer after the biketrip taste good! I didn't take that many pictures, so if you wanna see more, check out my sister's blog

Daddy Needs a New Pair of Shoes

I need a new pair of shoes. And I can't decide which one to buy. Any advice? Number one? Or number two? Or both? Or do you find both pairs uncool? Let me know and in return I will let YOU know which pair I bought.

Name That Tune #183

What song can you see wordled up above?

I Want To Go To There

I blogged about Grevasalvas in the past and I blog about Grevasalvas right now. One of those hidden treasures in the Swiss Alps. One of the latest movies about Heidi was filmed in this village and Peter and I visited it yeeeaaaars ago. Lately France has somehow overruled Switzerland, but I can proudly say that Switzerland is still the only country in the world that has its own tag at Zephyr-Files.

9 to 5

Working 9 to 5 these days. What a way to make a living! And I mean that in the most positive sense.

One day before we went on vacation I heard I got the job I applied for. After weeks of assessments and job-interviews I finally got that job.

And now I've already been filling three weeks with my new job. I almost feel like a normal person and I enjoy every minute of it. Great company, great bunch of co-workers and learning new things every day.

The only downside is that I don't find the time to update my blog as much as I want to. Can you forgive me?

Hunter. By Sam Ofcourse.

Model Hunter and photographer Sam Scott Schiavo go way back. 15 years to be exact. These pictures were taken back in 2007 and I never published them. Which is a shame, because Hunter plays the bad ass pretty well!

No Doubt by El Mac

It's September. Which means this is the month No Doubt will release their long awaited album Push and Shove. Here's the artwork, created by Los Angeles based street artist El Mac. He did these paintings and the four portraits together form the cover of the new album.
