Met my neighbour in the supermarket last week and he told me he was going to Paris to see a photo exhibition in the "Institut du Monde Arabe". He told me to look it up and he was especially thrilled about the work by Youssef Nabil, a photographer born in Cairo and now living in New York City. His handpainted prints are an hommage to the old Egyptian movies. These two are really my favourites and are both on display at the exhibition. More information here.
