Trip for October

As a very belated birthday gift for my 35th birthday last year, my mom gave me a trip as a present. She gave me a budget and this week I did some searching and came up with the trip shown above. Flying to Malaga in Spain, then travel via Granada and Cordoba to Sevilla and fly back from there. Booked the flight, the car and a few hotels and I am really looking forward going there in October! If anyone hass good tips for that region, feel free to share!

Because of the long, long history (goes back to the Greek and Roman periode in Europe), Seville has many places worth visiting. I hope you'll have a few days there.

And on an other note: Near Seville, there's a charming themepark still on my own to-do-list named Isla Magica >> www.islamagica.es . They're very good in themeing their park and from what I know of it, they have a pretty good assortment of rides in a very nice atmosphere (allthough, you're probably not planned this trip thinking of parks ;-) )...

Thanks RP! I don't intend to visit a themepark during that trip, as you predicted. Sevilla is new to me... I associated that city with modern architecture and Granada and Cordoba with the old influences.. so I am wrong?

Well, as far as I know Seville is one of the oldest cities in the country. Of course, there is modern architecture in the centre, where it was necessary. I'd suggest looking up Seville on Wikipedia for more info.

But if you're looking for it, you really need to go to Valencia. Apart from the city centre, it's modern all the way over there with lot's of (European subsidiary founded ;-) ) spectaculair buildings.

btw, I don't know nothing about Granada and Cordoba. Still lots of places to visit in Spain for my own. :-)

To me it's all new. I only know Madrid.
