What saddens me most: people often forget that aside from borders, theologies, politics and economics and such divisive behaviors and ideas, all humans are related. Along with the great and compassionate things we share with our human brothers and sisters, there are also terrible and often unthinkable atrocities set forth. It's a wonder that we evolved at all ... surely, we have a very, very long way to go.
Thank you for posting this as a feature. I find it interesting how blind homophobic critics are to their own contribution which is the real indecency applying negative pressure and harassment to the burdens of homosexuals. The human condition suffers through isolation and self-esteem flourishes through channels of community support aligned to honor human decency. Once again I'm mystified by the righteous indignation of a favored majority who has nothing constructive to offer but bigoted lies contrived from primitive superstition. The protests heard on the feature likens more to a primal culture hell bent on human sacrifice in accordance to ritualistic customs, rather than the factual and reasonable perspective you would expect from an evolved society with an obligation to take ownership of civic responsibility. If can't take responsibility outside of themselves, I doubt they take personal responsibility to maintain themselves or their own lives as well. In this case I'm glad producers embellished the film with picturesque scenery and music to compensate players with the respect and decency they lack.
I'm in this video! I'm the big guy with the glasses. Matthew Brown, a close friend, made this video from a camping trip a group of our friends took a couple years back.
His films are brilliant, and if you like this, please go check him out on Vimeo:

Thank you for posting this, daan... This video is really very special. To me, it shows that no matter how much people may try to push us down, we will always find a way to be happy.
The simplest things can bring joy. A good movie, or a great song. Maybe even a trip out into the mountains with some close friends, and some beautiful scenery.
the contrast (between the video and the commentary) is just stunning and it, in itself, is beautiful. with all the bigots and homophobes condemning homosexual and homosexuality, it just shows that gays and lesbian are just the same as straights because we want to live our lives as peacefully and as enjoyable as we can.

Why don't these people just shut up and let me enjoy this beautiful movie and great music?
TRN
Because it's the contrast that makes this video interesting.
What happened to "you decide"???
;)
Oh, I've decided before I posted already.
it's the longing for a dialogue which is aligned with the video that made me like it
Thank you for this. It is both sad and beautiful.

Can anyone tell me where the clip of the two women arguing back and forth is taken from. I would love to see that squabble in it's original context.
