Our neighbourhood was built after World War 2. Many of the buildings were built in the 1950's and 1960's and they have had their best time.
Last week they started demolishing a big area close to our house and it looks amazing. Large appartment buildings torn down to the ground. Hosed down with water constantly to keep the asbestic close to the ground.
I guess this must be what my city looked like after the great bombings in World War 2. Only this time it's not Ze Germans tearing down the city.
