Teardrops at IKEA

The tears came early this year. October 26th, Christmas still 2 months away, but this morning at IKEA, Peter shared his first drops when we entered the Christmas department.

Normally his first tears flow when the Merci commercial is being shown on television, but I completely understood the early arrival. I never had a click with Christmas. It's too much, too American and too everything. But Swedish Christmas is what Christmas should be all about. It's sober, natural, simple and red. IKEA can even get ME hooked on Christmas.

Later on we went to our garden center with the biggest Christmas department of our country. No tears there. It was nice to watch, but no emotions. Just some laughs and giggles because of the opulence. This department showed me everything I hate about Christmas.
