Bye Bye

Whoohoo! Tomorrow those horrible Ugly & Desperate programs are over and my tuesday evening gets good again! For all my dutch readers: tomorrow NET5 starts the first season of the brilliant Cougar Town! Make sure you start watching it, it's really hilarious! My sweet friend JavaJunkie already put my attention to it some time ago and I am still licking his shoes for that. A great comedy with punchline after punchline! A must-see! And although I've already seen the first season so far, I am starting from the beginning again tomorrow evening.

And yes, my evening will be complete with Single. Not as good, but very watchable due to one of the most sexy women in The Netherlands; Katja Schuurman as well as one of the funniest; Eva van der Gucht! I am glad I have another tv-night besides my thursdays.... I almost got cured from my addiction!

's-Hertogenbosch

Today we finally went to the Maarten Baas exhibition in 's-Hertogenbosch. Held in the very small Stedelijk Museum, there was one big room filled with his furniture, ceramics and ofcourse, his famous clocks. It's hard to stop watching his clocks. His most famous one (as well as the most expensive one) looks like a big old classic clock but totally different. It's like a person inside the clock is living there and changing the time by erasing and re-drawing. Absolutely amazing!

Besides the work of Maarten Baas, we were really captured by the sculptures and paintings by Pim Palsgraaf. His sculptures are made of bits and pieces from miniature houses, combined with little trees and in some cases stuffed animals. He calls them Multiscapes.

His paintings reminded me a bit of the work I did about 4 years ago. And once again Peter urged me to start painting again. I will! I promise! I miss it as well! I really loved these dripping cityscapes.

TICKETOHELL #3

And the start of spring also brings us Ticketohell #3. A beautiful new edition containing 110 pages filled with beautiful photography, art and graphic design. Below are some examples but make sure you check out the whole issue by clicking here.

Today

Today it's official! It's spring! And while we had a very nice week with sun and rizing temperatures (amongst other things rizing), now we can officially say it's only 3 more months untill summer! But first let's enjoy the melting of the snow, the flowers showing their colourfull heads and the lambs in the meadows (as well as on my plate)!

The Sicilian - Sam Scott Schiavo

After spending some time in Milan, Sam Scott Schiavo is back in Vienna. And he brought back some great new work. This is his good friend Federico Amoroso (I Love Models Management), a sicilian basketball player.
