Name that Tune #155

What song can you see wordled up above?

Gian Luca by Didio

Gian Luca (L'Equipe Agence) is an Italian model living in Milan. At the moment he's spending some time in Brazil, which is a great opportunity to be photographed by the one and only Didio. Much more of Gian at Models by Didio. And a personal note to the photographer: maybe a little less Photoshop in the face? The skin is a little bit too much retouched for a male.

Lies! All Lies!

When I was a boy, I really believed that when I start digging a hole and continued digging down I eventually would end up in China. That's what my parents told me and that's what my teachers told me. But now, with the Antipodes Map I discovered I wouldn't end up in China, but I would be drowning in the Pacific Ocean South-East of New Zealand! They all lied to me!

So what else did they lie about? Doesn't the sun turn off when it hits the sea at sunset? Don't babies grow out of sunflowers? Is Sinterklaas really a made-up person? Don't your hands grow out of your grave when you hit your parents? It's so confusing! Well, at least I now know not to start digging.

Goodnight

Swiss Trains + Tilt-Shift = Hot

Still not done with tilt-shifting here. After my own pictures and the beautiful Coachella video it's now time for the thing that makes me moist my pants a little bit. Swiss trains combined with tilt-shift. Aaaaaaaarrrgggghhhh..... life doesn't get any better than this video by fb1 Visuals! Okay, maybe I can name 100,974,760 things better than this, but you get my drift. I enjoyed!

Marlon Teixeira by Andrea Vecchiato

The Fashionisto published these outtakes from the shoot Andrea Vecchiato did with Marlon Teixeira for the March issue of Geil magazine. Gorgeous.

Acceptable in the 80's

Wow, this site filled with horror movie posters brought back a lot of memories! I recognize so much of them from our old video store! Looking at them even brings back the smell of that place! And the thought that I watched these covers over and over, read the backs, makes me think I actually saw these movies. But I also remember my mom considered horror as the worst form of pornography and I wasn't allowed to watch most of them.

In the 80's I was obsessed with horror. I decided to become a movie director and create horror movies that took place during the day so you could actually SEE all the gore and guts and blood. I had the poster for Fright Night on my door for a while, before having it inside my room because my sister was afraid to go to the toilet at night. Replaced it with a poster of Michael Jackson's Thriller, but that one had to removed as well.

In the end I didn't become a film director. And I lost my interest in horror movies (I just changed to REAL pornography MOM!). The only really good horror movie as an adult, which I really enjoyed was the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead.... a horror movie that takes place.... exactly. During daytime!
