This woman is my heroin for this week! She opened up a shelter for rescued battery chickens. A lot of them are brought to her without any feathers so she asked around her village and people started knitting these adorable chicken-sweaters! In a short period of time she received 500 of them! Hurray for her and hurray for the chickens! Made me smile:)

Aww! How sweet of her. We used to have chickens years ago, and I always tried to save the ones that the others picked on nearly to death. Kudos to her!
I laughed so hard when I saw this on the news... all the little chickensweaters.. LMAO.
