Today and tomorrow the national ice carving championships are held in our street. That sounds fun and when you see the sculptures, some of them are really amazing.
But when you know that they carve them with chainsaws and start at 8 in the morning, the fun part wears off real quickly!!! And since it's a 2 day event, I am prepared for an early rize on sunday morning as well. Our street is packed with security and dogs, because ice sculptures on a busy saturday night are not bully-proof.
